Jason Backe

Over the span of his career, Jason Backe has established himself as a highly accomplished color artist. He is one of the most sought after hair colorists in New York and his appointment book at ted gibson salon, which he co-owns with partner Ted Gibson, is always full. Eugene

A native of Washington D.C., Eugene has always had the desire to make women more beautiful through hair. His specialties include cutting, styling, extensions and relaxers as well as top-notch customer service! Gina

Gina started her career in Minnesota where she was a stylist for four years, and moved to NYC to pursuit her passion for hair styling. Since moving to New York, Gina quickly became one of Ted's go-to assistants and learned directly from him both in Salon and on editorial shoots. She has assisted Ted in styling celebrities such as Ashley Greene, Mila Kunis, Idina Menzel, Kate Gosselin and Christina Ricci. Gina's flair for the updo can been seen on fashion runways such as Carmen Marc Valvo, Rachel Roy, and Lela Rose. She’s also our go to gal for weddings and special events. Gina’s chair has been filling up with the guys, as she is quickly becoming known for her flair for effortless but stylish gentlemen's haircuts.

Assisting Ted on What Not to Wear for the last two seasons, and on editorial shoots for People and InTouch, this Texas native specializes in all variations of hair color. Karen

A native New Yorker, Karen is living her dream by coloring hair and making people feel special. After assisting Master Colorist Jason Backe she has grown in all areas of hair color from foil to balayage and single process color to uniquely creative color placements. She is a regular behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week and has been called on to work makeover magic at the Oprah show. Karen is sure to show you how hair color can not only change the way you look but also change the way you feel!

Ryan

Ryan moved to New York because he knew it would make him be the best he could be. Loving a challenge is what enabled him to work under Ted Gibson for everything from covers for InStyle, Vanity Fair and NYLON to handling the madness of New York Fashion Week. With that experience under his belt he has started building his own presence in the fashion scene of New York City.
